Prom is already one of the most talked-about nights of the year, but the excitement grew even more when students waited to hear who would be crowned prom king and queen. After the final votes were counted, Seniors Abrianna Crowley and Jordan Harvey walked away with the titles and a memory that will stick with them long after the night ended.
A lot of effort went into campaigning in the days leading up to prom, with both seniors finding ways to get their names out to the juniors and other seniors.
“I brought donuts, cookie cake, and candy, and I also made posts and a video,” Crowley said.
Those posts gained more attention through the help of friends, spreading far beyond their own pages and making their way across the school to a wider audience.
“All of my friends reposted all my posts and helped me pass out the goodies I brought!” Crowley said.
Crowley and Harvey each approached their campaigns in different ways, leading up to prom, putting their own styles into how they connected with classmates and encouraged support before the final vote.
“I talked to a lot of people I know about voting for Abrianna and me; however, Abrianna did the heavy lifting with the
food and videos,” Harvey said.
Even with all the planning and support behind them, neither expected their names to actually be called at prom.

“It felt pretty good to win, but I was definitely surprised,” Crowley said.
Harvey shared that same sense of shock when the announcement was made.
“I was happy when I won, but I wasn’t expecting to win,” Harvey said. “Winning prom king was definitely not on my 2026 bingo card.”
The night brought unexpected wins for both seniors, along with a deeper appreciation for classmates and friends who supported them throughout the week leading up to prom and helped make the moment possible.
“I think this goes for Abrianna and me, that our friends are the reason we won,” Harvey said. “We are very appreciative of them and everyone else who helped make it happen.”
