The internet is always creating new trends for everybody to follow. One of these recent trends is called “hear me out”s.
A “hear me out” is a fictional character, object, or celebrity that some might find uninteresting or unattractive in a way but some other strange (or not so strange) people might find them very interesting and attractive. And because it’s an unpopular opinion most of the time, the person has to give an explanation to why they find this (character, object, celebrity, etc.) attractive. There are many weird and strange “hear me out’s” here at HHS.
Some people just go for looks that they like from their hear me outs but some people just like the character’s personality. Freshman Adina Catic’s hear me out is Pickle Rick from Rick and Morty.
“Pickle Rick is just funny, like I don’t know Pickle Rick is just cool,” Catic said. “When I have a hear me out is not about physical features it’s personality for me.”

Freshman Jay’ne Walker said she likes Shrek.
“I would say Shrek […but] that belly, we gonna have to get rid of that,” Walker said. “Have y’all ever seen Shrek with the nails and the eyelashes, yeah I like that too.”
HHS vice principal Mr. Elijah Phillip says he has a crush on the HHS cafeteria.
“Hear me out, the cafeteria at HHS is second to none. The quality of food in there is delicious each and everyday the tots are crisp the sandwiches are juicy the nacho bar is second to none. I have seen Chipotles look far worse than what we have in our nacho bar every single day’s said Mr. Phillips.
“On Wednesday, March 25th I saw beautiful trays upon trays of lasagna, freshly chopped salads with housemade dressing, the soup line always has beautiful from scratch soup, our produce is beautiful, the lunch ladies are wonderful and friendly in every way, our cafeteria is bay.”
HHS science teacher Ms. Vera Weis

says when she was little she liked Danny Phantom from a popular Nickelodeon show that came out in 2004.
“One from when I was a kid like one of my early childhood crushed was Danny Phantom,” said Ms. Vera Weis. “I was like 4 years old I don’t even remember, I just thought he was cute, I don’t know, he just had a vibe to him, and he was like a superhero too and so you’re like oh he’s so cool.”
