Jess Gowan is a freshman at Hancock Place High School, and has been going to the Hancock School district all her life. She joined journalism by complete chance. Jess is excited for journalism because even though she signed up on accident this is her favorite class because of how fun and unpredicable it can be, Jess has also made new friends while in this class. She plays foot ball for the Bishop Dubourg Cavaliers and also is in drama. She likes attending football games, baseball games, and softball games outside of school, she also enjoys playing video games  and reading books and e-books.
