Freshman Emma Case who is also in the play Almost Maine and plays on the Hancock softball team has had multiple different hairstyles throughout her life. Many more are to come!
Emma Case began changing her hair when she was a lot younger! For her first time dying her hair, she says that she poured hair dye all over her head while outside with her mom!
“I liked the way dying my hair made me feel. I just felt excited when I was doing it,” Case stated. “My mom was terrified!”
Even though Emma Case has had too many hairstyles to keep track of, she still says that she has a favorite and least favorite out of them all.
“I liked my hair when it was long and layered, I could braid it and put it in a ponytail,” She said. “My least favorite was when I had my hair really short and had one side dyed teal and the other dyed pink.”
Many people when taking such a big leap and dying their hair for the first time may be scared, or nervous about the outcome. Emma Case on the other hand, is the complete opposite.
After so many changes to Case’s hair, she has learned a few things about how to keep the health of your hair intact.
Emma Case states that her hair remains severely damaged due to the immense amounts of specific brands of hair dye she used. “I’ve learned not to use box dye to dye my hair, or brands that may be bad for my hair.”
